Degreed in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bologna. First important career orientation towards the management part through the first work experience in a multinational company.

Over the years, the “technical” curiosity for products (and services) from a Customer perspective has also been cultivated. First experiences with increasing responsibilities in the Operations area, in mechanical companies.

For about thirty years in CEO / MD roles in Groups with very different products, sizes and properties (Fiat Tractors, Sirmac-Titan, Cesab, Speedline, Interpump, Riwal, Effer, Cefla, Bonfiglioli, ....). Successes also in the management of turnarounds and in the relaunch after periodic economic crises. Used to defining goals and forming cohesive Teams; skills of strategic and executive vision. During his long career, frankness and transparency have created some contrasts but, above all, deep bonds and friendships. Extensive experience in M&A, both from within companies and alongside Funds.

International vision and experience with coordination of significant foreign activities. The philosophy and experience gained allow him a quick definition of the essential elements of any company by following the cornerstones listed below:
- Company life: planning and execution; a continuous endless loop driven by external and internal factors that must continually be updated;
- Simple plans with clear objectives to create and motivate Teams of people to execute it and successfully face the moments of possible growth, those of necessary revision and the moments in which external conditions or key people change;
- to make a Plan it is necessary to understand the business context, but above all the existing human and relationship context. Always ready for new challenges as if it were the first day of activity.
